The Role:

We are looking for a Customer Success Associate to join our team. You will have a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced startup that is helping to solve some of the biggest challenges for the industrial workforce. In this role, you will partner with Account Management, Sales, Support, and WorkStep Leadership to provide a world-class customer experience for our employer partners. This position reports directly to the Customer Success Lead.


  • Facilitating new customer onboarding and training calls
  • Advising on product and industry best practices to influence ongoing adoption and engagement
  • Influencing revenue growth through increased employer engagement, retention and satisfaction
  • Providing insights, suggestions and feedback to managers and Product Team
  • Contributing to team projects to develop and refine our operations and optimize customer lifecycle


  • 1 year of customer support or customer success experience in a B2B SaaS company
  • Strong business acumen and comfort with presenting to, and establishing relationships with, senior level executives in enterprise-level companies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
  • Ability to empathize and understand customer concerns and goals
  • Ability to understand data reporting and analytics
  • Comfortable in a smaller rapidly evolving early stage start-up environment working remotely
  • Passion for the WorkStep mission

Preferred experience

  • Experience in HR tech
  • Experience working with (or in) our primary industries: warehousing, trucking, manufacturing and production
  • Experience with software training and education
