Zayo is seeking a Contract Negotiator to support the Corporate General Counsel and other members of the Zayo legal team by working on a variety of commercial transactions – sales contracts, vendor contracts and real estate matters. Under the supervision of Zayo attorneys, our Contract Negotiator will provide contract support for Zayo’s sales and/or procurement organizations and other related corporate functions.
We are seeking an exceptionally strong candidate with transactional negotiating and drafting experience in the Telecommunications or Network field who is ready for accelerated learning.
*We’re open to this position working in a hybrid capacity out of our Denver or Boulder, CO offices or in a remote capacity within the United States.
Responsibilities include:
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements
- Provide contract interpretation and guidance to internal stakeholders
- Participate in other strategic initiatives and projects as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience drafting and negotiating contracts in a corporate environment, including sales and vendor agreements
- Ability to communicate with other personnel and external parties on complicated topics through strong, organized writing and verbal skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, including management of projects and workload and setting goals and priorities
- Strong team player able to work cooperatively with others, both internal and external to the company, to find practical and creative solutions to problems
- Computer and software systems experience, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SFDC
- Prior experience successfully operating in a fluid, fast paced and entrepreneurial environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Creative problem-solver
Base Pay Range: $67,500 – $90,000 USD/annually, commensurate with experience.
