The Contract Administrator provides essential support for the contracting process, serving as a key resource for the Legal Procurement team as well as supporting sales and non-sales engagements. Contract Administrators assist with contract intake and review, manage contract documentation, and support the overall contracting process under the direction of senior team members.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with the review and organization of contracts including services, consulting, marketing, licensing, non-disclosure, data privacy, and other commercial and technology related agreements.
- Serve as a contracting resource for the Procurement team on vendor contracts and procurement-related agreements.
- Support contract drafting activities assisting with creating and maintaining contract templates, updating playbooks, and ensuring standardized documentation across procurement legal.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for contract completion.
- Input completed contracts into the contract management system and capture key terms.
- Maintain organized contract files and documentation.
- Track contract milestones, renewal dates, and key deadlines.
- Assist with basic contract analysis and identify areas requiring escalation to senior team members.
- Support the contract approval process by routing documents to appropriate stakeholders.
- Utilize tech stack (existing and new) to help identify, create and implement process improvements including the use of AI tools and features.
- Support procurement legal by tracking, analyzing, and publishing key contract and performance metrics to drive informed decision-making and operational excellence.
- Respond to routine contract inquiries from internal teams.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum of 1-4 years of contracts administration, paralegal, or related experience, preferably at a technology company.
- BA/BS required or equivalent work experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of commercial agreements and contract terminology.
- Proficient in contract management systems and AI tools, or willingness to learn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn new skills, adapt to evolving processes, and grow within a legal and procurement organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and take initiative in an all remote environment.
- Ability to learn and use GitLab.
