We’re adding a Content Marketing Manager to the Marketing team to develop and execute a best-in-industry brand and content strategy. In this role, you will own our organic marketing channels. You’ll also work with our demand generation and sales teams to develop pillar brand content that supports the customer journey and distinguishes Vendr from our competitors.
What you’ll do:
- Help define and articulate Vendr’s narrative through content, copywriting and our brand story
- Take ownership of our words. Words on the website, words in our marketing materials, words on social media.
- Work with key leaders and our data teams to produce our flagship quarterly SaaS Trends Report
- Build and execute on SEO strategies
- Manage external content partners and agencies as needed
- Work with demand gen and marketing ops to measure the impact of content on the customer journey.
What we need:
- 5+ years in a brand, content or demand generation with a passion for writing and a keen editing eye.
- A deep portfolio of strong writing. Maybe it’s content you produced at work, maybe it’s a Substack about basket-weaving, maybe it’s a decade worth of random tweets. Even better if it’s all of the above. We’re looking for a prolific writer.
- Experience owning SEO and collaborating with demand generation teams on integrating organic and paid strategies.
- Passion and interest in the software that makes companies more productive. You may not be deeply passionate about SaaS procurement. That’s fine. But you do need to care about the world Vendr is creating, and have opinions on how we get there.
- Experience playing with various LLMs, and a view on how they can and can’t be useful to a marketing team.
- You should be a writer with an editor’s attention to detail, a comfort with data, and who thrives in a fast-paced startup with a culture of experimentation.
