We’re looking for a Compliance Manager to own our Technology Compliance Management function and join us in spreading the power of Flock. In this role, you will work alongside a team of Flocker’s that focus on understanding the business needs of our customers, establish GRC best practices, and continue to enhance Security processes.

The right candidate is an experienced professional that can serve as a trusted business partner to management colleagues in security, technology, and business.This person will drive transformations of control maturity and establish sustainable processes for managing compliance.

This role will require an ability to develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. This candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive continuous improvement in security posture.

How you’ll make an impact: 

  • Establish a comprehensive framework of harmonized controls across numerous risk management frameworks with the company’s implementation response and control status
  • Conduct periodic control assessments to identify and prioritize potential areas of improvement and opportunities for automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Legal, Product, and Engineering to develop control, improve plans and facilitate audits.

We’re looking for people who:

  • 5+ years of experience in security governance, IT audit, or security compliance
  • 3+ years of leading projects and influencing security and control decisions
  • Experience with control frameworks (SOX, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI, NIST FISMA/FedRAMP/CSF, and CJIS CSP).
  • Competency with cloud computing technologies and SaaS application
  • Experience in a technical role with proven success in timely delivery of projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and ruthless prioritization
  • Successful promotion of driving changes in culture of compliance and building credibility
  • Experience with fast-growing cloud-native SaaS start-ups
  • Experience managing people or leading a small team

  • Demonstrate fluency in cloud technologies, control frameworks, compliance management efficiency, and build credibility with stakeholders.

  • Operationalize Flock’s harmonized control framework for compliance and establish a cadence of continuous compliance

90 Days & Beyond 

  • Leverage building blocks of compliance you have implemented to efficiently lead audits for SOX, SOC 2, FedRAMP, CJIS and more.

💰Salary & Equity: In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary of $100,000-$150,000 as well as stock options
