At Salesloft, we’re looking to hire a Communications Manager to join our growing team. Our communications team is pivotal in shaping the perception of the Salesloft brand, developing and maintaining influential relationships, and managing our online community partnerships. As a Communications Manager, you will be reporting to the Senior Director of Communications and Content and you will work closely with the brand, demand generation, product marketing, content, social and PR teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communications and Media Relations
- Liaise with PR agency and assist with PR-related tasks including drafting press releases, submitting award applications, preparing briefing documents, and coordinating interviews between Salesloft executives and the media
- Identify and secure business, sales, marketing and RevOps podcast interview opportunities appropriate for c-level executives
- Coordinate interviews and develop monthly newsletter content for the brand’s LinkedIn newsletter
- Develop supporting materials for media engagements
- Collaborate with the social media manager to identify relevant industry news for social sharing and employee advocacy program
- Identify and develop content from our PR program that can be repurposed and repackaged for our executive thought leadership program
Influencer Marketing Program Management
- Identify, engage, and manage relationships with influencers to enhance brand awareness and credibility
- Develop and implement influencer marketing strategies and campaigns that drive engagement and conversions
- Manage contracts and content briefs
- Set up and manage briefings
- Develop newsletters targeted to our influencer portfolio
- Monitor, analyze and report on the performance of influencer partnerships, adjusting strategies as needed.
Online Community Partnership Management:
- Identify, build and maintain partnerships with online communities and platforms to expand the brand’s reach and influence
- Monitor for competitive and customer opportunities and risks, and develop engagement and support processes
- Fulfill partnership deliverables, which could include (but not limited to) emails, newsletter content, and digital events like webinars, panels, roundtables, etc.
- Collaborate with the Revenue Marketing team for promotional initiatives and in-person and virtual event opportunities
- Identify potential speaking engagements and networking opportunities for Salesloft executives at community events, submit speaker applications for community-hosted events, and work cross-functionally to deliver supporting assets
SKILL SET:
- This role will be based in the US
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in communications or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
- Proven track record of influencer marketing strategies, online community partnership management, public relations and a knack for relationship building
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in Google suite
