We are seeking highly motivated and experienced instructors to join our Campus Faculty Network, specifically for our College and Career Success course. This Instructor will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive course designed to instill a profound sense of purpose, commitment, and belief in our students’ ability to succeed. The instructor will guide students through identifying their purpose, understanding their opportunities, and developing practical plans to achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and motivational course content in line with the course’s sections.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including motivational quotes, songs, stories, guest speakers, and reflective assignments.
- Help students articulate their strengths, passions, and career goals.
- Guide students in developing multi-step plans for their careers and lives.
- Teach students to plan for financial responsibilities and future life scenarios.
- Enhance students’ communication skills.
- Foster the development of strong personal networks among students.
- Equip students with effective time and schedule management skills.
- Instruct students on researching job positions and evaluating career choices.
- Create a supportive and engaged classroom environment that encourages student interaction and community building.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Career Development or related field
- A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching courses at the college or university level
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in learning management systems and other technology tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a teaching team.
- Ability to complete required training in effective online teaching strategies and methods
- Availability and skills to teach online

Time Commitment: 10-12 hours per week during each 11-week quarter. Additional hours (max 10) for onboarding and training, as needed.
Compensation: The salary for teaching this course is $5,000 per course/11-week quarter
