Position Summary: As the Business Intelligence & Analytics Product Owner in the IT Operations & Governance – Value Management office, this individual will work closely with Ascension Technologies subject matter experts and leaders to enable data-centric decision making through maturation of data interpretation and distribution, success measure creation and effective reporting.  This role is key to ensuring we optimize our investments in IT and deliver value to the organization.


  • Primarily responsible for connecting the product to SMEs (defines stories, backlog)
  • Produces use case documentation
  • Leads the Community of Practice and acts as Analytics Governance Lead, with special relationship to Data Governance lead
  • Assesses and drives value of Business Intelligence and Analytics
  • Lead by example and coach on key behaviors to drive results
  • Perform special assignments or projects as directed and serves on committees and task forces, as assigned
  • Promote and practice the Ascension Values; Service of the Poor, Reverence, Integrity, Wisdom, Creativity and Dedication
