As an AWS Business Analyst Consultant for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:
Partnering with business owners and technical leads to define AWS-based data and cloud strategies
Documenting data relationships, writing technical specifications, and identifying automation opportunities
Collaborating with engineering and architecture teams to build scalable, secure AWS solutions
Gathering and analyzing requirements, and translating them into actionable development tasks
Performing root cause analyses and identifying business process improvements
Supporting acceptance testing, documentation, and traceability of business and system requirements
Facilitating cross-functional collaboration and communicating findings with stakeholders at all levels
Tracking and reporting status updates for key deliverables, including feasibility, development, deployment, quality assurance (QA), and support

You have:
8+ years of experience in business analysis or enterprise systems, with a proven track record supporting digital transformation initiatives
Experience working with global stakeholders and supporting non-standard (international) time zones
Experience working in large-scale, data-driven, cloud-based environments (AWS experience strongly preferred)
Proven ability to gather, document, and translate business and technical requirements into actionable deliverables
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and process improvement
Familiarity with platforms such as SAP, Oracle, IBM Maximo, or Infor (EAM, SCM, or ERP)
Hands-on experience working with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, user story development)
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including stakeholder engagement and executive reporting
Ability to work independently on global projects, navigate ambiguity, and align deliverables with business goals
Experience conducting workshops, writing business cases, developing dashboards, and supporting UAT
You might also have:
AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Business Analyst, Cloud Practitioner, or Solutions Architect Associate)
Familiarity with industry standards like ISO 45001, ISO 55000, or ISO 9001 depending on the business domain
Experience with IoT, AI/ML technologies, and predictive analytics in asset-heavy industries (e.g., oil & gas, mining, smart cities)
Understanding of digital twin technology, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), or condition-based monitoring (CBM)
Experience supporting cross-functional teams with vendor/partner coordination and cloud-native solution integration
Proficiency in business intelligence and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, AWS QuickSight)
Knowledge of ESG frameworks (e.g., CDP, SBTi, GRI) and sustainability reporting (for roles supporting EHS or Smart City initiatives)

The compensation for this position is tailored to reflect your unique skill set, relevant experience, and the current dynamics of the job market. We strive to ensure that our compensation package is competitive and fair, taking into account various factors to provide a rewarding opportunity for our team members.
The annual salary range for this role is: 140,000 – 140,000 in addition to our comprehensive benefits package.
