We have great stories in video and audio formats. Stories ready to captivate, educate, and impact people at a global level. You will help us to get these stories to the right audience through the right distribution channels. Through your film distribution network and experience, you will work with the production management team on distribution strategies in addition to planning and executing distribution of our video and audio stories.
What You’ll Be Working On
Duties include but not limited to:
·         Research platforms and distribution methods
·         Evaluate video/audio concepts and recommend what channels would best serve specific videos.
·         Collaborate with other managers to ensure content is modified according to different channel needs.
·         Research new opportunities in the film/TV market for distribution
·         Develop promotion strategies for videos.
·         Manage the entire distribution process: Submission letters, proposals, press releases related to filming, etc.
·         Guide the production team about optimal distribution platform per each production/story.
·         Advise the video management team on release dates and pre-production promotional strategies.
·         Other related tasks as needed.
Physical and Travel Requirements
·         This is a remote position with less than 10% travel requirements. Occasional planned travel may be required as part of the role.
What You Bring
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
·         Experiencee in strategizing and planning distribution of films/TV.
·         Submitting to (or managing) Film Festivals.
·         Promoting films/TV shows.
·         Ability to manage and promote film screening events.
·         Collaborative, team player, humble.
·         Established network throughout the entertainment distribution industry.
Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience:
·         Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
·         Ten or more years of experience in entertainment industry
