As an Associate Business Operations Analyst, you will support business planning, performance management, and process optimization for our GTM functions. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is analytical, highly collaborative, and eager to learn the ins and outs of sales operations, performance analytics, and cross-functional program management.
The minimum qualifications for this role include:
- 1–2 years of internship or entry-level experience in business operations, sales operations, strategy, or a similar analytical function.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau), Salesforce, Excel/Google Sheets.
Preferred qualifications for this role include:
- Experience supporting sales teams or GTM organizations.
- Exposure to incentive programs, capacity modeling, or CRM systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
How you’ll grow
Within 1 month, you’ll plant your roots, including:
- Experience Sprout’s in-depth onboarding, covering everything from our company mission and values, hearing directly from executives and founders to deep training on our products and the value that Sprout delivers to our customers
- Make a plan with your manager to set initial priorities, align on expectations for your role, plant goalposts for your career, and learn about Sprout’s approach to Sales Operations.
- Learn the current state of our performance metrics, processes, reporting, and documentation.
- Create strong relationships with the leaders and managers in the business area you support, as well as cross-functional partners.
Within 3 months, you’ll start hitting your stride by:
- Inform processes, policies, and procedures for the department you support, backing recommendations with data
- Deliver key insights and business recommendations based on new and interesting ways to analyze and visualize the data to help inform future decisions and strategies.
- Have your first performance conversation with your manager, where you’ll discuss your accomplishments in your role and work together to build goals for your professional growth
Within 6 months, you’ll be making a clear impact through:
- Find ways to automate, simplify, and evolve performance measurement in ways that allow the business to grow and scale effectively.
- Lead special projects that span departments, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and moving in the same direction.
- Prepare executive presentations and reports for leadership and executive meetings, providing transparency and ensuring clear messaging on key outcomes.
Within 12 months, you’ll make this role your own by:
- Collaborate on developing the Global Commercial Go-To-Market strategy
- Lead territory carving for the Business Operations Organization
- Work cross-functionally with teams in Marketing, Business Development, Product, and Customer Success to align the Sales organization’s goals with broader business objectives.

Individual base pay is based on various factors, including work location, relevant experience and skills, the responsibility of the role, and job duties/requirements. In the United States, we have two geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires are:
- Zone 1 (New York, California, Washington): $66,000.00 (min), $82,500.00 (mid), $99,000.00 (max) USD annually
- Zone 2 (All other US states): $60,000.00 (min), $75,000.00 (mid), $90,000.00 (max) USD annually
