As Beamery scales, we have split the Engineering team into specialised units, each tasked with various aspects of the application. These smaller teams allowed for faster deployment and better communication. The teams are self-contained consisting of Frontend Engineers, Backend Engineers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Product owners and team leads to coordinate their efforts.
Backend Engineering – The back end team focuses on engineering solutions to facilitate data integrations and data ingestion from various 3rd party systems. Additionally, Team Enigma houses Beamery’s data science team.
Frontend Engineering – The front end team is split into three teams who each have ownership over specific parts of the application.
SRE Platform – Beamery SRE platform is about ownership of mission-critical production and multi-tenanted SaaS operations.
