The Senior Lead/Business Operations & Risk Manager plays a critical role in driving process excellence and risk-informed decision-making across the Sales organization. Reporting to the Director of Business Operations, this role leads full-service program management for business performance tracking, reporting, and Rhythm of Business (RoB) reviews. In addition to RoB responsibilities, this role will lead efforts in identifying, assessing, and reporting on business risks, ensuring that leadership has the insights needed to proactively manage operational and strategic risks. The role will also support sales goal definition and tracking, while enhancing cross-functional alignment and operational efficiency.
The Main Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end RoB process, including data collection, synthesis, reporting, and action tracking.
- Serve as a liaison between Sales and Finance to ensure alignment on performance metrics and risk exposure.
- Develop and maintain a business risk register, identifying key operational and strategic risks across Sales functions.
- Conduct risk assessments and scenario analyses to inform leadership decision-making.
- Design and deliver risk and performance dashboards for executive reviews, including Monthly Business Reviews.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor effectiveness.
- Facilitate operational and risk-focused meetings with stakeholders to ensure timely follow-up and accountability.
- Drive continuous improvement in business operations processes, with a focus on risk reduction and efficiency.
- Support the goal-setting and tracking process for the Sales organization, integrating risk considerations.
- Provide executive-level reporting and insights on business performance and risk posture.
- Additional duties as required by the business.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of related business operations management experience.
- Proven experience in sales, sales operations, business operations, finance, or marketing operations within a complex GTM environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with risk frameworks and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Possesses strong leadership skills and exhibits managerial courage.
- Excellent collaboration and effective listening skills.
- Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
- Proven ability to present information to various levels in organizations.
- Understanding of project management.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$103,711 – $138,281 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$108,896 – $145,195 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$114,082 – $152,109 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
