  • Job Description Summary
    This is a newly created position reporting to the Accounting Manager, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments. You’ll closely manage the equity administration process, partnering with Legal and Finance teams to prepare Board of Directors reporting and prepare related stock-based compensation journal entries. Other tasks will involve working on a month-end close, various projects with our tax team and assistance with annual audit.

     

    What We’re Looking For

    We’re excited to meet candidates who bring financial rigor and a collaborative spirit. Key skills and experience include:

    • Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Maintain and reconcile the company’s capitalization table in coordination with Legal and Finance teams
    • Assist with Board of Directors reporting for the capitalization table
    • Preparation of stock-based compensation entries for financial close
    • Handle month end close accruals for vendor, travel & entertainment, and employee reimbursement expenses
    • Support external audits by preparing schedules, documentation and responses to audit inquiries
    • Assist with correspondences, payments, and ad hoc projects with the tax team

     

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • 4+ years of relevant accounting experience required; CPA preferred Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
    • Strong knowledge of US GAAP; stock-based compensation accounting experience (ASC 718) preferred
    • Comfortable handling multiple priorities with tight deadlines
    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Excel System experience with NetSuite is a plus
    • Demonstrates UserTesting’s values through work product and within day to day team interactions.
